EEG IIR Filter - Zero Phase Shift Butterworth Filters

The Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) Filters transform allows you to filter or attenuate undesired

frequency (spectral) components that are present in the EEG data. For example, it is typically

desired to attenuate high-frequency noise in order to create a smoother representation

of the raw EEG signal or an ERP. Likewise, slow-frequency components can be filtered out to

eliminate long-lasting offsets of non-physiological origin in oscillatory EEG signals.

The IIR Filters in Analyzer are phase-shift free Butterworth filters.
