Tuesday, 08 de June de 2021
Virtual reality is bringing to the scientific world a new form of interaction with the objects of study. New possibilities and trends are emerging. This material shows some possibilities of VR technology applications in scientific research and in the medical field, which has benefited from case studies through the three-dimensional analysis of medical images. As explained by COL Richard Satava, MD Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery (USUHS), "virtual reality in the future will offer, among other benefits, remote surgery, greatly improved medical and surgical training, visualization of massive medical databases, and innovative rehabilitation techniques.”
