Checkerboard/ Visual Experiment Experimental Design


  1. The participant sits comfortably in a chair, facing the presentation monitor.

  2. A checkerboard image is presented for 0.6s, then another checkerboard image with inverted stripes is shown for 0.6s seconds. This repeats for 12 seconds.

  3. The block is presented 10 times, for a total of 10 trials.

  4. 15 seconds of rest follow each block.

There will be significant activation centered around the Inion point, Oz according to the international 10/20 system.
