CereStim R96 - Blackrock - fully programmable, 96-channel neurostimulator that can produce up to 16 concurrent stimuli.

Monday, 30 de December de 2019

CereStim™ 96 is a fully programmable, 96-channel neurostimulator that can produce up to 16 concurrent stimuli. These biphasic current pulses in turn stimulate neurons via implanted electrodes.

Software highlights

CereStim 96 comes with Stim Manager Software and both Matlab SDK and C++ SDK. Stim Manager operates in two modes: Manual and Program. Control of the stimulator through C++ or Matlab APIs provides a simple path to integrate directly into experimental control systems.

The user first selects an electrode from the Electrode Array Panel (1-96) and then creates a custom stimulus in the Waveform Panel. The latter allows the user to specify single-stimulation parameters by defining individual phases including polarity, number of pulses, inter-phase delay, amplitudes, phase width and frequency.

Program Mode enables users to send multiple stimulations to different electrodes, create custom stimulation patterns and interleave channels.
