The Cerebus™ System is a multichannel data acquisition system for animal neurophysiology experiments that is highly configurable and easy to use. The Cerebus™ Neural Signal Processorcaptures, processes and analyzes action potentials (spikes), field potentials and other physiological signals in relation to experiment state events™ in real-time for up to 128 electrodes, 16 auxiliary analog channels, and individual TTL or strobed word experiment events. Multiple systems can be synchronized for higher channel counts. The Cerebus System also can be used in combination with the innovative CerePlex™ family of digital headstages, which digitize and multiplex neural signals at the source, enabling noise-immune transmission and reduction of lead wires.
